Saint John’s Day of Mourning ceremonies will be held at Lily Lake Pavilion (Day of Mourning Monument) on Monday, April 28th, at 12:00pm. Please arrive at 11:30am if you would like to participate. Everyone is welcome.
Local 213 will be hosting a social breakfast for our retired members only on May 9th at the Legion Branch 69, located at 714 Wilson Street West. Doors will open at 9am, and food will be served from 9:30 to 11:30, and the event will end at 12pm. Breakfast will include bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, tea biscuits and muffins, tea, coffee, and juice. Please contact the hall to register.
1st call for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery; they require:
* 5 Journeyman Pipefitters
Starting Monday, April 28th, at 7:00am. Duration is 1 month plus. You will be working 4x10s Monday-Thursday with possible overtime until the outage in June, then will switch to 5x10s 7:30-5:30 .This work is under the NMA Short-Term Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date and maintain valid safety for the duration of their employment. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. IOR orientation must be completed by 2pm on Fridays. A D&A test is required.
2nd call for Lorneville at the ESJ Terminals; they require:
*1 Journeyman Pipefitter
