It is with great sadness we announce the passing of local member Brother Ronald Derry, who passed away on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home and Crematorium. In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Donations can be made to Percy’s Place or to Miramichi Regional Hospital.

Any members that would like to register for the following courses, please contact the hall; the dates are TBD: Fall Protection, Confined Space, Forklift, Supervisor, and Shop Steward.

* 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Duplex Tig and Carbon Stick

Starting ASAP at 5:00pm. This is a Night Shift Call.  Duration: 2 Weeks Plus.  Will be working 4x10s with possible overtime. 40 hours plus.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested.  Must have all safety training up to date. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.

2nd call is for Sunny Corner at the Pumping Station (2530 Red Head RD) ; they require:

* 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4

Starting Nov. 29th at 7:30 am.  Duration: 1-2 days.  Will be working 8 hr shifts with possible overtime. This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested.  Must have all safety training up to date. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.
