This is Local 213’s Work Information for Monday Jan. 15th.

The weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit at (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.

1st call is for Sunny Corner at Point Lepreau they require:

*5 Instrument Tech and *1 Instrument Tech Apprentice.

This call is for the PLGS Electrical Shop. Starting March 4th at 7:30am Duration is 2-3 months.  Before the outage will be working 5×8’s with possible overtime and weekend work.  During the outage will be working 6×12’s, additional overtime may be required. Hours of work during the outage will be as per NBPN’s hours of work policy.  This work is under the PLGS NMA agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested and must have all safety training up to date.

2nd call is for Sunny Corner at Point Lepreau they require:

*3 Pipefitters and 1 Apprentice Pipefitter.

*2 F3/F4 Welders – Will be tested on 6 weld procedures, will have one week to practice at the hall.

This call is in the Mechanical Maintenance Shop. Starting March 4th @ 7:00am. Duration is approx 2-3 months. Before the outage will be working 5×8’s with possible overtime and weekend work.  During the outage will be working 6×12’s, additional overtime may be required. Hours of work during the outage will be as per NBPN’s hours of work policy.  This work is under the PLGS NMA agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested and must have all safety training up to date.

1st call is for B&W at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill (ETP Location) they require:

*1 Journeyman Pipefitter  and *1 Pipefitter Apprentice.  Starting Jan 15th Days at 7:30am.  Duration is unknown, will be working 4×10’s. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested and must have all safety training up to date.
