This is Local 213’s work information for Wednesday, August 13th, 2025.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: THE REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING SCHEDULED FOR TONIGHT IS CANCELLED. 

The Golf Tournament scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 14th, will be postponed until Thursday, Aug. 21st, due to the pending weather conditions. 

Any members who require CWB testing, please contact the hall to reserve a booth. The date is TBD.

1 call for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery: They require

* 2 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 CS * 1 Pipefitter Apprentice

Starting Monday, Aug. 18th, at 7:00am. Duration is 2 weeks plus. Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime. This work is under the NMA agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.

2nd call for Stuart Olson at the Irving Oil Refinery:They  require

*  3 Journeyman Pipefitters for Nights * 2 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 & F6/F5  for Days * 1 Pipefitter Apprentice for Days 

Starting Monday, Sept. 8th, at 7:30am for Day shift and 7:30pm for Night shift. Duration is 2 weeks plus. Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime for preshut and 6×10’s for turnaround. The night shift will start on days for orientation and switch to nights. This work is under the GPMA agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.

3rd call for Stuart Olson at the Irving Oil Refinery: They  require

* 6 Journeyman Pipefitters for Days * 9 Journeyman Pipefitters for Nights  * 3 Apprentice Pipefitters for Days * 3 Apprentice Pipefitters for Nights * 2 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 & F6/F5 for Nights. 

Starting Thursday, Sept. 11th, 7:30am for Day shift and 7:30pm for Night shift. Duration is 2 weeks plus. Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime for preshut and 6×10’s for turnaround. This work is under the GPMA agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.

4th call for Lorneville at the LNG: They require

*2 Journeyman Pipefitters * 2 F3/F4 Welders to test on Stainless and Mud Rod * 1 Welding Apprentice 

Starting Monday, Aug. 18th, at 7:00am. Duration is 2 weeks plus. Will be working 4×10’s Mon-Thurs with possible overtime. This work is under the Industrial agreement.  Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Will require lots of walking and stairs, heavy lifting, and heavy rigging. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date.
