N.B. Pipe Trades is hosting a Pension Seminar on Thursday, June 25th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Fredericton Inn, Salon A, 1315 Regent Street, Fredericton, NB and will be presented by TELUS Health. This seminar is an opportunity to learn more about your pension benefits and ask any questions you may have. For those unable to join in person, the seminar will be available virtually with a provided link. For anyone who has provided NB Pipe Trades Administration Office with an email address a link will be sent out to you. If you have not provided an email address to the Administration Office and you would like to attend the seminar virtually, please contact the Administration Office at 506-459-6040 extension 1 to provide an email address. The virtual invite will be sent out on June 23rd.
Local 213’s annual summer picnic will be held Sat., July 11th, 2026, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Glen Carpenter Centre, 730 Foster Thurston Drive. Please contact the hall or your shop steward to register before June 26th. We are also looking for volunteers; if you’re available to lend a hand, please advise the hall when registering.
The first call is for CAM at the Irving Oil Refinery: They require;
*2 Journeyman Pipefitters
Starting Monday, June 15th at 7:30 am, the shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime. The duration is unknown. This work is under maintenance and repair under the GPMA short term. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before 2pm the day prior to your start date. A D&A test is required.

* 1 Apprentice Welder (Ward Welder) to test on F3/F4
