This is Local 213’s work information for Tuesday, July 7th, 2026.

Local 213’s annual summer picnic will be held this Sat., July 11th, 2026, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Glen Carpenter Centre, 730 Foster Thurston Drive.

The regular monthly meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, July 8th, at 7pm at the Legion Branch 69. Located at 74 Wilson Street West.

There will be a supervision and shop steward courses being held at the hall in the near future; please contact the hall to get registered.

One call for B&W at the Irving Oil Refinery. They require:

* 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4

Starting Monday, July 13th, at 7:00am. The shift schedule is 4x10s, with possible overtime. The duration is unknown. This work is under the NMA Agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.
