Please note that, due to Remembrance Day falling on the second Wednesday of November, our regular monthly meeting will be held on November 18 instead.

There will be a NAUSC Supervisor Level 1 Certification course at the JATC in Miramichi on November 30th-Dec. 4th. Anyone interested, please contact Jamie at the JATC to get registered. 506-622-0219

There will be a rigging course held at the JATC in Miramichi on Dec. 10th-11th. There is an online component that must be completed before class. The deadline to register is Dec. 3rd. Please contact the JATC to register 506-622-0219.

There will be a lobster stag held at the Masonic Temple—92 Germain Street—on Friday, Nov. 13th. There will be a draw for the tickets. Any retirees interested, please contact the hall to register by Nov. 4th.

There is one call for Lorneville at all IPP sites and laydowns reporting to KWR: They require: 

* 1 Apprentice Pipefitter

Starting Monday, Nov. 2nd, at 7:00am. This is a day shift call. Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime. The duration is 3 weeks plus. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must have all safety training up to date. You must complete online orientation before reporting to the site.
