NOTICE TO ALL UA LOCAL 213 MEMBERS

Please be sure to have a Government issued photo ID or your UA membership card when you go to the hall to vote tomorrow Saturday, December 6th (8:00am -3:00pm).

Any members that would like to register for the following courses, please contact the hall; Fall Protection – Monday December 15th, Confined Space – Thursday December 18th and Friday December 19th.  Dates are TBD for the Forklift, Supervisor, and Shop Steward courses.

Any members that require CWB, please contact the hall to reserve a booth.  Testing will be on Wednesday, December 17th 7:30am

1st call is for Lorneville at Irving Pulp & Paper, they require:

*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on carbon stick, duplex tig, paper write stainless tig

Starting ASAP.  Shift schedule is 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday (4×10’s). Duration is 2 weeks plus.  This is a day shift call. This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested.  Must have all safety training up to date.  Must complete online orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of local member Brother Ronald Derry, who passed away on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home and Crematorium. In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Donations can be made to Percy’s Place or to Miramichi Regional Hospital.
