This is Local 213’s work information for Friday, May 16th, 2025.
Kennebecasis Lions Club & Ritchie’s will be holding a lobster stag on Friday, May 30th. We have six tickets available. Any local 213 gentlemen that are interested in attending, please contact the hall by May 20th at noon. If more than six people call in, we will do a draw for the tickets on May 20th in the afternoon.
1st call is for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery; they require:
*2 Apprentice Pipefitters & *1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4 & F6/F5
Starting Monday, May 26th, at 7:00am. Duration is 3 weeks plus (expected to extend) You will be working 4x10s with possible overtime. This work is under the NMA agreement under short-term conditions as per the site memo. The job scope is Projects & Maintenance; potential for work under fresh air for tie-points. Possible work in confined spaces, work at heights/climbing scaffolding/platforms via ladders/stairs, and rigging and rigging support. Must have all safety training up to date and maintain valid safety for the duration of their employment. Must be clean-shaven and fit tested. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.
2nd call is for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

Starting Wednesday, May 21st, at 7:00am. 3 Weeks plus (expected to extend) You will be working 4x10s with possible overtime. 3rd call is for Cam at the Irving Oil Refinery; they require:
* 1 Journeyman Instrument Tech
Starting Wednesday, May 21st, at 7:30am. Duration is unknown. You will be working 4x10s, 40 hours plus. This work is under the GPMA Agreement under short-term conditions as per the site memo. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. Must complete online orientation before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.
4th call is for Sunny Corner at Point Lepreau; they require:
* 3 Journeyman Instrument Techs 2 for days, 1 for nights
Starting Monday, June 16th Day shift 7:30am – 5:00pm, Night shift 9:30pm – 7:30am. Duration is approximately 5-6 months. You will be working 50 hours per week Monday – Friday with the possibility of working 12 hour shifts and weekend days/nights for critical path work. Shift schedule will be 5×10’s during the outage. Additional overtime may be required depending on the owner’s requirement. Hours of work during the outage will be as per NBPN’s hours of work policy. There may be a requirement to reduce the shift to 8 hours during the outage if there is down time. Start, quit and break times may be adjusted based on customer requirements. The crews will be split into day shift and night shift. Could be work in the reactor building. This work is under the NMA agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. CSIS clearance is required.
