RATIFICATION VOTE FOR THE COMMERCIAL/RESIDENTIAL AGREEMENT: There will be a vote at the Legion Branch 69 (714 Wilson Street West) on Feb. 25th, 2026. Reading will start at 6:30pm. Vote to follow immediately after reading. Pools will close at 7:30am. Must show a union card or government-issued photo ID to be eligible to vote.
The 1st call is for CAM at Irving Oil Refinery; they require:
*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4
Starting Monday, Feb 23rd, at 7:30am. This is a Day shift call. The shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime. Duration is unknown. This work is under the GPMA Agreement, under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested, must have all safety training up-to-date, and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A drug and alcohol test is required.
The 2nd call is for Lorneville at IPP; they require:
*1 Journeyman *1 Apprentice Pipefitter *1 Apprentice Welder
Starting Monday, Feb. 23rd, at 7:00 am. This is a DAY shift call. The shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime. Duration is 1 month plus. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested, must have all safety training up-to-date, and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.
The 2nd call is for Lorneville at IPP; they require:
*2 Journeyman Pipefitters
Starting Monday, Feb. 23rd, at 5:00pm. This is a Night shift call. The shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime. Duration is 1 month plus. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested, must have all safety training up-to-date, and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.
