Local 213’s annual summer picnic will be held this Sat., July 11th, 2026, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Glen Carpenter Centre, 730 Foster Thurston Drive.
There will be a supervision and shop steward courses being held at the hall in the near future; please contact the hall to get registered.
1st call for Sunny Corner at IOL Refinery – ESJ Terminal; they require the following:
* 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4
Starting Monday, July 20th, at 7:00am, the shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime. The duration is 3 weeks. This work is under the NMA Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.
The 2nd call is for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery. They require:
* 2 Journeyman Pipefitters
Starting Monday, July 20th, at 7:00am. The shift schedule is 4x10s, with possible overtime. The duration is 1 month plus. This work is under the NMA Agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.
The 3rd call is for Stuart Olson at the Irving Oil Refinery. They require:
* 2 Journeyman Pipefitters
Starting Monday, July 20th, at 7:00am. The shift schedule is 4x10s, with possible overtime. The duration is 2 weeks. This work is under the GPMA Agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.
