Local 213’s annual summer picnic will be held Sat., July 11th, 2026, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Glen Carpenter Centre, 730 Foster Thurston Drive. Please contact the hall or your shop steward to register before June 26th. We are also looking for volunteers; if you’re available to lend a hand, please advise the hall when registering.
The 1st call is for Lorneville at the IPP and various JDI laydown sites and warehouses. They require
* 2 Journeyman Pipefitters and 1 Apprentice Pipefitter
Starting Monday, June 29th, at 7:00 am. This is a dayshift call. The shift schedule is 4x10s, 7am-5pm, with possible overtime. The duration is 1 month plus. Job scope: the recovery boiler duct prefabrication project. This work is under the industrial agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.
