Please note that, due to Remembrance Day falling on the second Wednesday of November, our regular monthly meeting will be held on November 18.

There will be a NAUSC Supervisor Level 1 Certification course at the JATC in Miramichi on November 30th-Dec. 4th. Anyone interested, please contact Jamie at the JATC to get registered. 506-622-0219

There will be a rigging course held at the JATC in Miramichi on Dec. 10th-11th. There is an online component that must be completed before class. The deadline to register is Dec. 3rd. Please contact the JATC to register 506-622-0219.

There will be a lobster stag held at the Masonic Temple—92 Germain Street—on Friday, Nov. 13th. There will be a draw for the tickets. Any retirees interested, please contact the hall to register by Nov. 4th.

The 1st call for Lorneville at Lake Utopia: They require: 

* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter * 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Carbon Stick and Stainless Tig 

Starting Tuesday, Nov. 3rd, at 7:00am. This is a day shift call. Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime. The duration is 1 week plus. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must have all safety training up to date. You must complete online orientation before reporting to the site.

The 2nd call is for Cam at IPP: They require: 

* 2 Journeyman Pipefitters * 2 Apprentice Pipefitters * 1 Welding Apprentice

Starting Monday, Nov. 2nd, at 7:30am. This is a day shift call. Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime. The duration is unknown. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must have all safety training up to date. You must complete online orientation before reporting to the site.

The 3rd call is for Black and MacDonald at Saint John Central Peninsula School: They require: 

* 1 Apprentice Plumber 

Starting Monday, Nov. 9th, at 7:30am. This is a day shift call. Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime. The duration is 1 week plus. This work is under the Commercial Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must have all safety training up to date.
