This is Local 213’s work information for Thursday, September 11th, 2025. 

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brother Edward Warren, who passed away on Sunday, Sept. 7th. The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home in Miramichi on Saturday, September 13th, from 1:30 to 3pm, with a funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 3pm. Interment will take place at St. Andrew Presbyterian Cemetery, Clairville, NB, on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 14th, at 3pm. In memory of Ed, donations can be made out to the IWK Halifax.

We just received notification about the passing of Brother James Holt, who passed away on Aug. 11th, in Alva, Florida, USA.

There will be a retiree lunch held at the Legion Branch 69 on Friday, October 3rd, from 11 to 3. They will be serving a turkey dinner.  Any of our retired members that would like to attend, please advise the hall by Monday, Sept. 22nd.

1 call is for Lorneville at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill: They require

 * 2 Journeyman Pipefitters * 1 Apprentice Pipefitter * 1 F3/F4 Welders to test on Duplex Tig and Carbon Stick.

Starting Monday, Sept. 15th, at 7:00am. Duration is 3 weeks plus. Will be working 4×10’s Monday – Thursday. 7am-5pm.This work is under the industrial agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date.
