This is Local 213’s work information for Wednesday, April 1st, 2026.

Local 213 is hosting a retiree breakfast on Friday, April 17th. It is being held at Legion Branch 69, located at 714 Wilson Street West. Any local 213 retirees who would like to attend, please contact the hall to get registered no later than April 6th. Come and join the comradery with your fellow retired brothers from 9am to 12pm. The buffet will run until 11am.

There will be CWB testing at the hall on April 7th; if anyone is interested, please contact the hall to reserve a booth.

The 1st call is for Babcock & Wilcox at Irving Pulp & Paper; they require:

*3 F3/F4 Welders to test on 2¼ chrome and 9 chrome

Starting Monday, April 6th at 7:30pm.  This is a night-shift call.  The shift schedule is 4×10’s with possible overtime.  The duration is unknown.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested, and must have all safety training up to date, and must complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to the site. Must be able to work at heights, extreme heat, hot area and extended hours.

The 2nd call is for Sunny Corner at Irving Pulp & Paper; they require:

*2 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 and Stainless Tig

Starting Monday, April 6th at 7:30am.  This is a day-shift call.  The shift schedule is 4×10’s (Mon-Thurs) with sporadic overtime.  The duration is 3 weeks plus.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested for a full face respirator due to the work environment.  Must have all safety training up to date, and must complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

The 3rd call is for Babcock & Wilcox at Irving Pulp & Paper; they require:

*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on 2¼ chrome, 9 chrome, F3/F4, and Stainless Tig for Day Shift

*8 Journeyman Pipefitters *5 F3/F4 Welders to test on 2¼ chrome, 9 chrome, F3/F4 and Stainless Tig for Night Shift

Starting Friday, April 10th at 7:30am for day shift and 7:30pm for night shift.  The shift schedule is 4×10’s with possible overtime.  The duration is unknown.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested, and must have all safety training up to date, and must complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to the site. Must be able to work at heights, extreme heat, hot area and extended hours.
