This is Local 213’s work information for Wednesday, August 6th, 2025.

Any members that require CWB testing, please contact the hall to reserve a booth. The date is TBD.

Just a reminder, the Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14th (located at 774 Route 855, Norton, NB). It starts at 2pm, but we are asking that everyone arrive at 1:00 to get registered. You will be playing best ball. The $60.00 fee will be payable at the golf course.

1st call is for Stuart Olson at the Irving Oil Refinery: They require

*5 Journeyman Pipefitters *1 Pipefitter Apprentice

Starting Monday, Sept. 8th, at 7:00am. Duration is 2 weeks plus . Will be working 4×10’s for pre-shut and 6×10’s for turnaround. This work is under the GPMA agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.

2nd call is for B&W at various locations: They require:

1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F6/F4 Chrome and Stainless Steel Tig

Starting Monday, Aug. 18th, at 7:30am. Duration is unknown. Will be working 4×10’s, 40 hours plus. This work is under the industrial agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. Must complete online orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to the site.
