Local 213’s annual summer picnic will be held this Sat., July 11th, 2026, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Glen Carpenter Centre, 730 Foster Thurston Drive.
The regular monthly meeting will be held tonight, Wednesday, July 8th, at 7pm at Legion Branch 69. Located at 714 Wilson Street West.
There will be a supervision and shop steward courses being held at the hall in the near future; please contact the hall to get registered.
There is 1 call for Sunny Corner at Colson Cove; they require the following:
* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter * 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Carbon TIG, Stick, and Stainless TIG, Stick.
Starting July 13th, at 8:00am, the shift schedule is 5x8s with possible overtime. The duration is 10 weeks plus. This work is under the NMA Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.
