UA Local 213 is proud to represent the highly skilled brothers and sisters in the Steamfitting, Plumbing, Welding, Instrumentation Technicians and Metal Trades.
We are stronger together working in solidarity to build a strong future for our brothers and sisters. The Standard of Excellence is our pledge to maintain the highest standards of excellence in all that we do. We offer ongoing training for the growth and development of all our brothers and sisters to enhance their skills and maximize their employability, so they remain competitive in an ever-growing industry. Local 213 provides an encouraging environment that inspires members to reach their full potential.
“Built on Excellence” the standard for safety is driven from the UA’s core value in which we believe that every worker has a right to go home from the job in the same shape as when he or she arrived at the workplace. Safety is the highest priority of the UA.
Our members can be found everywhere. We are industrial, institutional, commercial and residential. You will find us in the energy sector, in infrastructure, shipyards, mining and oil & gas. Our members can do it all!
