Our Goal:

To provide our signatory contractors with the best trained and most productive employees possible, through continuous development of new and existing skills for our apprentices and journeypersons. Through our commitment to continuous training we will provide a quality product, which will translate into cost savings for our contactors, secure future employment for our members, and meet the future needs of the Pipe Trades.

Training and Courses:

All welding testing for employer requirements on industrial sites are performed at Local 213’s training center, which is equipped to provide testing to any procedure. Our members have access to this center at anytime to practice or train.

Our training centre also provides training in the following:

Through a partnership with our UA/MCA Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, the National Association of Union Schools and Colleges (NAUSC), and the United Association Instructor Training Program, we are continuously expanding our list of available courses. If you would like to see a particular trade related course offered at our training centre or would like to participate in an existing course, please contact the training centre.
