It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bill (William) Kreuzer.  We will provide further details when they become available.

New union cards and tax slips will be available at the hall for pickup, starting Monday, Jan. 26th.

Any members that would like to register for a cold cutting next Thurs. or Fri. please contact the hall to get registered.

This is Local 213’s work information for Wednesday, January 21st, 2026.

UA Local 179 is looking for Instrumentation Techs for co-op shutdown starting on April 20th to May 19th; they will be working 6-12’s on both day and night shifts.  Anyone interested, contact Brandon Faul at Local 179 for more information.

There is 1 call for Lorneville at Irving Pulp & Paper; they require:

* 2 Journeyman Pipefitters, *2 F3/F4 Welders to test on Duplex Tig and Carbon Stick, 

Starting Monday, January 26th at 5:00pm.  This is a NIGHT shift call.  The shift schedule is 4×10’s Monday – Thursday from 5:00pm to 3:00am. Duration is 1 month plus.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested, must have all safety training up-to-date, and complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.

Any local members interested in these calls, please contact the hall Thursday between 8-10am.

This is Local 213’s work information for Tuesday, January 20th, 2026.

There will be a Confined Space course held at the hall Friday, January 16th and Saturday, January 17th.  Fall Protection will also be held at the hall on Friday, January 23rd.  Any members that would like to register for Fall Protection and Confined Space please contact the hall.

1st call is for Lorneville at East Saint John Terminal, they require:

* 1 Apprentice Welder with a current CWB

Starting Monday, January 19 at 7:00pm.  This is a night shift call.  Shift schedule is 6×10’s with the possibility of additional over time.  Duration is 2 weeks plus.  This work is under the NMA Short term based on site memo.  Must have all safety training up to date, be able to climb and work at heights, be clean shaven and fit tested, complete all orientation and hire on documents before reporting to site and a Drug & Alcohol test is required.

2nd call is for Lorneville at Irving Pulp & Paper, they require:

* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter, *1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Duplex Tig and Carbon Stick, *1 Apprentice Pipefitter

Starting Monday, January 19 at 7:00am.  This is a day shift call.  Shift schedule is 4×10’s Monday – Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm.  Duration is 1 month plus.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must have all safety training up to date, be clean shaven and fit tested, complete all orientation and hire on documents before reporting to site.

3rd call is for Lorneville at Irving Pulp & Paper, they require:

*1 Journeyman Pipefitter

Starting Monday, January 19 at 5:00pm.  This is a night shift call.  Shift schedule is 4×10’s Monday – Thursday 5:00pm – 3:00am.  Duration is 1 month plus.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must have all safety training up to date, be clean shaven and fit tested, complete all orientation and hire on documents before reporting to site. 

4th call is for Sunny Corner at Irving Pulp & Paper, they require:

*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4 & Stainless Tig

Starting Monday, January 19 at 7:00am.  This is a day shift call.  10 hour days, 40 hours a week.  Duration is 1 week.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must have all safety training up to date, be clean shaven and fit tested, complete all orientation and hire on documents before reporting to site.
