Monday, February 5th

This is Local 213’s Work Information for Monday, Feb. 5th.

The weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit at (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.

The 2023 tax slips will be sent out by mail tomorrow Tuesday Feb. 6th.

There will be a Fall Protection course held at the hall, the date is to be determined. Any members interested please contact the hall to get registered.

1st call for Marque at the Irving Paper East and IPP West they require:

*1 Instrument Fitter Journeyman

Starting: Monday Feb. 12th , Day shift 7:30 am. Duration approx. 5 days with possible extension. Will be working 5×8’s. Mon-Fri.   This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Tube bending is required, must be able to pass a tube bending test. Must be clean shaven and fit tested.  Must have all safety training up to date.  A D&A test is required.

2nd call is for Cam at Irving Oil Refinery, they require:

*1 Pipefitter Apprentice

Starting: Wednesday Feb. 7th Day shift 7:30 am. Duration is unknown. Will be working 40 hours plus with possible overtime.  This work is  Longterm Maintenance under the GPMA Agreement.  Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must be clean shaven and fit tested, must have all safety training up to date and a D&A test is required.

3rd call is for Lorneville at Irving Pulp and Paper Mill, they require:

*1 Journeyman Pipefitter

*1 Welding Apprentice

Starting Wednesday Feb 7th, day shift 7:00am.  Duration is 2 weeks+. Will be working 4×10’s Mon-Thurs. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date.

Friday, February 2nd

This is Local 213’s Work Information for Friday, Feb. 2nd.

The 2023 tax slips are available for pickup at the hall.  Any slips that have not been picked up by Monday Feb. 5th, will be sent out by mail on Tuesday Feb. 6th.

*3 Journeyman Pipefitters ( 2 fitters to operate telehandler )

Starting: Wednesday Feb. 7th, Day shift 8:00am. Duration is 2 -3 days.  Will be working 8 hour shifts with possible overtime.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested, must have all safety training up to date.

Starting Day Shift Monday Feb. 5th @ 7:30am. Will be working 4×10’s with the possibility of overtime. Duration is 2 weeks+  and this work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested and must have all safety training up to date.

2nd call is for Lorneville at the LNG they require:

*1 Apprentice Pipefitter

Starting Day Shift Monday Feb. 5th @7:00am.  Will be working 4×10’s Mon-Thurs 40 hours plus.  Duration is unknown and this work is Long Term Maintenance under the GPMA agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested and must have all safety training up to date.
