Any retired members that would like to attend the Shriners Lobster Stag on Friday Nov. 15th, please call the hall before Tuesday Nov. 5th. We have six tickets available, if more than six people call in , we will do a draw for the tickets.
The Weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit at (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.
Any members that would like Pre-Clearance for Point Lepreau, please contact the hall.
1st call is for Sunny Corner at the Baysisde Power, they require:
*1 Pipefitter Journeyman
Starting Oct.23rd Days 7:30am. Duration is 2-3 weeks. Will be working 6×10’s and overtime as required. This work is under the NMA agreement.
2nd call is for Sunny Corner at the Point Lepreau, they require:
*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Tig Stick Carbon, and Tig Stick Stainless
Starting Nov. 4th Days 7:00am. Duration is 4-6 Months. Will be working 4×10’s Monday-Thursday 7am -5pm with 2 30min breaks, and overtime as required. This work is under the PLGS NMA agreement. CSIS is required.
3rd call is for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery, they require:
*4 Pipefitter Journeyman
Starting Oct.28th Days 7:00am. Duration is 2 weeks plus. Will be working 4×10’s with outages through out which may require overtime. This work is under the NMA short term agreement. A D&A test is required.
4th call is for Marque at the Irving Oil Refinery, they require:
*1 Journeyman instrument fitter
Starting Oct.21st Days 7:00am. Duration is approximately 1 week. Will be working 4×10’s Monday -Thursday. Tube bending mandatory, must pass tube bending test. This work is under the NMA agreement. A D&A test is required
*We still have open calls for Instrument Tech’s for Sunny Corner at Point Lepreau, please contact the hall for more details.
All above calls Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.
