This is Local 213’s Work Information for Monday, August 19th.

The Weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit at (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.

There will be a 1-day bolt-up course being held at the hall. The date is to be determined. Please contact the hall to get registered.

1st call is for Marque at Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

* 1 Instrument fitter, Journeyman

Starting as soon as requirements are completed at 7:00 am. Duration is approx. 1 week. They will be working 40 hours, 4×10’s Mon-Thurs. This work is under the NMA agreement. Must pass the tube bending test. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.

2nd call is for Sunny Corner at Irving Pulp & Paper West; they require:

* 1  F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 and Stainless Tig

Starting As soon as requirements are completed at 7:00am. Duration is 2 weeks plus, and they are working 4×10’s Monday- Thursday. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

3rd call is for Lorneville at Irving Pulp & Paper West; they require:

* 1  F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 and Carbon Stick and Stainless Tig

Starting As soon as requirements are completed, at 7:00am. Duration is 1 month plus, and they are working 4×10’s. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

4th call is for Lorneville at Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter and *1 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 .

Starting Monday Aug. 26th Days , at 7:00am with plan to switch to 7:30am start during TA. Duration is 1 month plus, Scope of Work is TA Pre-Work. Will be and they are working 4×10’s Mon-Thurs. up until the TA then switching to 6×10’s. This work is under the NMA. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.

5th call is for Lorneville at Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter and *1 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 .

Starting Monday Aug. 26th Nights, at 7:00am.  Night shift will start on days and then switch to nights during TA. Duration is 1 month plus, Scope of Work is TA Pre-Work. Will be and they are working 4×10’s Mon-Thurs. up until the TA then switching to 6×10’s. This work is under the NMAAgreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.

Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.

This is Local 213’s Work Information for Wednesday, August 14th.

The regular monthly meeting will be held this evening Wednesday Aug. 14th at the Legion Branch 69. Located at 714 Wilson Street West.

It is with great sadness that we announce brother Timothy Hampton has passed away on August 8th. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the KV Billiards.

Tuesday, August 13th

This is Local 213’s Work Information for Tuesday, August 13th.

Please be advised that the Hall and surrounding area are without internet and phone lines. Bell Aliant is currently working on the issue and hopes to have it up and running again within 24-48 hours. That being said, they do not have a definitive completion time, so please check the hotline for updates.

The regular monthly meeting will be held tomorrrow Wednesday Aug. 14th at the Legion Branch 69. Located at 714 Wilson Street West.

This work is under the Short-Term NMA.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested.  Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.
