The Compassionate Grief Center is holding it’s 5th Annual Jason Zelward Physical Challenge Fundraiser. Join us for an afternoon of Tug of War, Washer Toss and Community Spirit. There will be a BBQ, Face Painting and activities for the kids.  Local 213 will be entering teams.  If your interested in joining in on some fun for a good cause, please contact the hall to register.

1st call is for Lorneville at Pulp and Paper Mill (ETP Location)  they require:

* 4 Journeyman Pipefitters *1  F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4 Stainless Tig

Starting Monday May 6th Days 7:00am. Duration is 2 Months and they will be working 4×10’s, Mon-Thurs. This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested.  Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

2nd call is for B&W at Pulp and Paper Mill (ETP Location)  they require:

* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter

Starting Monday May 6th Nights 6:00pm. Duration is 2 Weeks and they will be working 4×10’s, Mon-Thurs. This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested.  Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter

Starting Monday April 29th Nights 5:30pm. Duration is unknown and they will be working 4×10’s, 40 hours plus. This work is under the Long-Term Maintenance and Repair, GMPA Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested.  Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.

The annual Day of Mourning Ceremony will be taking place on Sunday, April 28th @ 12:00 noon at the Day of Mourning Monument, Frank & Ella Hatheway Center at Rockwood Park in Saint John.  Everyone is welcome to attend, we will be meeting at Lily Lake for 11:30am.
