This is Local 213’s Work Information for Friday, Feb. 2nd.
The weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit at (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.
The 2023 tax slips are available for pickup at the hall. Any slips that have not been picked up by Monday Feb. 5th, will be sent out by mail on Tuesday Feb. 6th.
There will be a fall protection course held at the hall, the date is to be determined. Any members interested please contact the hall to get registered.
1st call is for MQM at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill they require:
*3 Journeyman Pipefitters ( 2 fitters to operate telehandler )
Starting: Wednesday Feb. 7th, Day shift 8:00am. Duration is 2 -3 days. Will be working 8 hour shifts with possible overtime. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested, must have all safety training up to date.
2nd call for Marque at the Irving Paper East and IPP West they require:
*1 Instrument Fitter Journeyman
Starting: Monday Feb. 12th , Day shift 7:30 am. Duration approx. 5 days with possible extension. Will be working 5×8’s. Mon-Fri. This work is under the Industrial agreement. Tube bending is required, must be able to pass a tube bending test. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.
