We are looking for apprentices to volunteer for the retiree breakfast this Friday, May 9th, at 9am. Please contact the hall if you’re interested.

1st call is for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

*1 Journeyman Pipefitter *1 Apprentice Pipefitter

Starting Tuesday, May 20th, at 7:00am. Duration is 1 month plus (expected to extend) You will be working 5x10s with the possible overtime. This work is under the NMA agreement under short-term conditions as per site memo. The job scope is Lorneville Line Replacement; duties may include longer walks to work fronts, work at heights/climbing scaffolding/platforms via ladders/stairs, and rigging and rigging support. Must have all safety training up to date and maintain valid safety for the duration of their employment. Must be clean-shaven and fit tested. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.

2nd call is for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

*3 Journeyman Pipefitters *2 Apprentice Pipefitters *1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4 Carbon Steel F6/F5 Stainless Steel

Starting Monday, May 26th, at 7:30am. Duration is 1 month plus (expected to extend) You will be working 4×10 days for training and then will be switching to 6×10 for 2 weeks of nights and then switching back to days, working 5×10’s for the summer with possible overtime. This work is under the NMA agreement under short-term conditions as per site memo. Job scope includes possible fresh air work for blinding, possible work in confined spaces, work at heights/climbing scaffolding/platforms via ladders/stairs, rigging and rigging support, Must have all safety training up to date and maintain valid safety for the duration of their employment. Must be clean-shaven and fit tested. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.

3rd call is for Cam at the Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

* 3 Journeyman Instrument Tech’s

Starting Monday, May 20th, at 7:30am. Duration is unknown. You will be working 4x10s, 40 hours plus. This work is under the GPMA Agreement under short-term conditions as per site memo. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date and maintain valid safety for the duration of their employment. Must complete online orientation before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.
