This is Local 213’s Work Information for Tuesday, August 13th.

Please be advised that the Hall and surrounding area are without internet and phone lines. Bell Aliant is currently working on the issue and hopes to have it up and running again within 24-48 hours. That being said, they do not have a definitive completion time, so please check the hotline for updates.

The regular monthly meeting will be held tomorrrow Wednesday Aug. 14th at the Legion Branch 69. Located at 714 Wilson Street West.

We will be running the calls from Monday, Aug. 12th, again today. If your interested in a call and unable to reach someone at the hall, please contact Bill at (506) 271-2626.

It is with great sadness that we announce brother Timothy Hampton has passed away on August 8th. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the KV Billiards.

The Weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit at (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.

There will be a 1-day bolt-up course being held at the hall. The date is to be determined. Please contact the hall to get registered.

1st call is for Marque at Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

* 1 Instrument fitter, Journeyman

Starting Monday, Aug. 19th, at 7:00 am. Duration is approx. 1 week. They will be working 40 hours, 4×10’s Mon-Thurs. This work is under the NMA agreement. Must pass the tube bending test. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.

2nd call is for CAM at Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

*1 Journeyman Pipefitter

Starting Wednesday, Aug. 14th, at 6:00pm. Duration is unknown. Scope of work is Maintenance. They will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime. This work is under the GPMA. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.

3rd call is for Babcock & Wilcox at Coleson Cove; they require:

*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4, F6/F4

Starting Thursday, Aug. 15th, at 7:30am. Duration is 2 shifts plus, and they are working 10 hour shifts. This work is under the NMA. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.
