The weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit at (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.
The regular monthly meeting will be held tonight, April 9th, at 7pm, at the Legion Branch 69 located at 714 Wilson Street West.
There will be CWB testing at the hall on April 17th; please contact the hall to reserve a booth.
There is one call for the Boilermakers with B&W at IPP; they require:
* 4 Tig Welders
Starting Monday, April 14th, at 7:30am. This is a day shift call. Duration is 3 weeks plus. Will be doing prep work for 2 weeks of 4×10’s, then will work into shutdown for 10 days of 10-hour-plus shifts. This work is under the industrial agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested; must have all safety training up-to-date. Must complete online orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. Any union members interested in this call, please contact the Local 73 Boilermakers directly and request to be put on the permit list by calling 506-634-7386.
