There will be CWB testing at the hall on April 17th; please contact the hall to reserve a booth.

There is one call for the Cam at Irving Oil Refinery; they require: 

*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4 

Starting Monday, April 21st, at 5:30pm. This is a night shift call. Duration is unknown. Will be working 4×10’s, 40 hours plus.  This work is under the short-term GPMA Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested; must have all safety training up-to-date. Must complete online orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. A D7A test is required.

Any local members interested in this call, please call the hall Friday morning between 8am -10am.

The regular monthly meeting will be held tonight, April 9th, at 7pm, at the Legion Branch 69 located at 714 Wilson Street West.

* 4 Tig Welders 

Starting Monday, April 14th, at 7:30am. This is a day shift call. Duration is 3 weeks plus. Will be doing prep work for 2 weeks of 4×10’s, then will work into shutdown for 10 days of 10-hour-plus shifts. This work is under the industrial agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested; must have all safety training up-to-date. Must complete online orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site. Any union members interested in this call, please contact the Local 73 Boilermakers directly and request to be put on the permit list by calling 506-634-7386.

This is Local 213’s work information for Tuesday, April 8th, 2025.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of local member Anthony “Tony” Perry, who passed away on April 4th. Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, at 230 Westmoreland Road. There will be a celebration of life held on Wednesday, April 9th, from 12pm to 2pm. Donations in Tony’s memory may be made toward a charity of your choice.
