It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brother Brian Stevenson; arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home. 111 Paradise Row, Saint John. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, from 2 to 8 pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 25th, at 1:00pm at the Lancaster Baptist Church, 87 Church Ave., Saint John. Interment will take place at a later date. In memory of Brian, donations can be made to the Lancaster Baptist Church.

Pipe Trades is hosting a pension seminar on Thursday, June 25th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Fredericton Inn, Salon A, 1315 Regent Street, Fredericton, NB, and it will be presented by TELUS Health. This seminar is an opportunity to learn more about your pension benefits and ask any questions you may have. For those unable to join in person, the seminar will be available virtually with a provided link. For anyone who has provided the NB Pipe Trades with an email address, a link will be sent out to you. The 1st call is for CAM at the Irving Oil Refinery: They require
* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter
Starting Monday, July 6th, at 7:30 am, the shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime. The duration is unknown. This work is under the GPMA Agreement under short-term conditions as per the site memo. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before 2pm the day prior to your start date. Please note this call is a 2-break shift. There will be heavy rigging and fresh-air training onsite. A D&A test is required.
The 2nd call is for Stuart Olson at the Irving Oil Refinery: They require
* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter * 1 Apprentice Pipefitter
Starting Monday, July 6th, at 7:30 am, the shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime then 6×10’s during shutdown. The duration is 2 weeks plus. This work is under the GPMA Agreement under short-term conditions as per the site memo. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork, which must be completed no later than 12 pm, 3 days prior to start date. A D&A test is required.
The 3rd call is for B&W at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill: They require
* 2 Journeyman Pipefitters * 1 Apprentice Pipefitter * 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4
Starting Monday, June 29th, at 7:30 am, this is a day shift call. The shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime. The duration is unknown. This work is under the Industrial agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.

Starting Monday, June 29th, at 7:30 am. The shift schedule is 4x10s with possible overtime. The duration is 2 weeks plus. This work is under the Industrial agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. Must pass a tube bending test.
