THE REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING FOR AUG. WILL BE CANCELLED THIS MONTH
Any members that require CWB testing, please contact the hall to reserve a booth. The date is TBD.
Just a reminder, the Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14th (located at 774 Route 855, Norton, NB). It starts at 2pm, but we are asking that everyone arrive at 1:00 to get registered. You will be playing best ball. The $60.00 fee will be payable at the golf course.
1 call for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery: They require
*2 Journeyman Pipefitters *4 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 CS * 1 Pipefitter Apprentice
Starting Monday, Aug. 18th, at 7:00am. Duration is 2 weeks plus . Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime. This work is under the NMA agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.
2nd call for Stuart Olson at the Irving Oil Refinery:They require
*2 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 & F6/F5 * 1 Pipefitter Apprentice for Days * 3 Journeyman Pipefitters for Nights
Starting Monday, Sept. 8th, at 7:00am. Duration is 2 weeks plus . Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime for preshut and 6×10’s for Turnaround. Night shift will start on days for orientation and switch to nights. This work is under the GPMA agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.
3rd call for Cam at the Irving Oil Refinery:They require
*1 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4 & F6/F5
Starting Tuesday, Aug. 19th, at 6:00pm. Duration is 2 unknown. Will be working 4×10’s with possible overtime. This is a Night shift call. This work is under the GPMA agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.

It is with great sadness we announce local member, Brother Moyle Stuart, passed away on Aug. 6th. There will be a celebration of life held at Old Molly’s Bar, located at 14 Beach Street in St. Martins, on Sat., Aug. 9th, at 11:00am.
The regular monthly meeting will be held next Wednesday, Aug. 13th, at 7 pm. Located at 714 Wilson Street West.

Starting Monday, Aug. 11th, at 7:00am. Duration is unknown. Will be working 4×10’s on days for pre-shut and 6×10’s for turnaround. Night Shift will be switching to nights for turnaround. This work is under the GPMA agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Must have all safety training up to date. A D&A test is required.
2nd call is for Cam at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill: They require:
* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter, *1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4 and F6/F5
