Local 213’s annual summer picnic will be held on Saturday, July 12th, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Glen Carpenter Center, 730 Foster Thurston Drive. Please contact the hall to get registered before June 30th. We are also looking for volunteers. If you are available to lend a hand, please advise the hall when registering.
The Compassionate Grief Center will be holding their annual Jason Zelward Physical Challenge on June 21st from 1-4 pm. If you are interested in a fun afternoon of Washer Toss and Tug of War. Please contact the hall to register.
Looking for any local 213 members that may be interested in participating in a golf tournament at the Midland Golf Course on Thursday, Aug. 14th. The cost would be $60.00 per person, which would cover nine rounds of golf with a cart, two beverages, and BBQ. Please contact the hall by Friday June 13th.

1st call is for Sunny Corner at Point Lepreau; they require:
* 3 Journeyman Instrument Techs 2 for days, 1 for nights
Starting Monday, June 16th Day shift: 7:30am – 5:30pm, night shift: 9:30pm – 7:30am. Duration is approximately 5-6 months. You will be working 50 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with the possibility of working 12-hour shifts for critical path work. The shift schedule will be 5x10s during the outage. Additional overtime may be required. Hours of work during the outage will be as per NBPN’s hours of work policy. There may be a requirement to reduce the shift to 8 hours during the outage if there is downtime. Start, quit, and break times may be adjusted based on customer requirements. The crews will be split into day shift and night shift. Could be work in the reactor building. This work is under the PLGS NMA agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald McGrath on Monday, May 27th. Visitation will take place at Saint-Antonie L’Ermite Church on Friday, May 30th, 2025, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, followed by the funeral on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at 10:00am.
The hall will be holding a grinding course for apprentices. If you are interested in attending, please contact the hall to get registered.
