NOTICE TO ALL UA LOCAL 213 MEMBERS

There will be a Ratification vote for the Commercial and Residential Agreements on Wednesday, December 17th at 7:00pm at the Legion Branch 69, 714 Wilson Street West.  We are looking for volunteers for scrutineers for the Ratification Vote.  Any members interested please contact the hall.  The volunteers should arrive at 6:30pm.

Any members that would like to register for the following courses, please contact the hall; Fall Protection – Monday December 15th, Confined Space – Thursday December 18th and Friday December 19th.  Dates are TBD for the Forklift, Supervisor, and Shop Steward courses.

Any members that require CWB, please contact the hall to reserve a booth.  Testing will be on Wednesday, December 17th 7:30am

1st call is for Lorneville at Irving Pulp & Paper, they require:

* 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Duplex Tig, Carbon Stick and Paper Write Stainless Tig  

Starting Monday, January 5th at 5:00pm.  Duration is 1 month plus.  Shift schedule is 4×10’s Monday – Thursday 5:00pm – 3:00am.  This is a night shift call.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested.  Must have all safety training up to date.  Must complete online orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Stainless Tig, Mud Rod and F6/F4 Carbon

Starting Monday, December 15th at 7:00am.  Duration is 2 weeks plus.  Shift schedule is 4×10’s Monday – Thursday.  This is a day shift call.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested.  Must have all safety training up to date.  Must complete online orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.  This job consists of high work, lots of stairs, lots of walking, lots of climbing, heavy lifting, heavy rigging, fit up large bore Stainless steel.  100% X-RAY FOR ALL WELDS on site.
