Due to the mail strike, self pay notices, self pay final notices and retiree benefit plan notices have not been mailed out. If you think you may be in a self pay position and may and need to make a self pay to keep your benefits intact, please contact NB Pipetrades Administration Office at 506-459-6040 Ext. 2. If you are unsure of you benefit status, lease contact the Admin Office to check. Notices will resume by mail once the mail strike is over.

There will be tryouts for the UA Rep Hockey Team on December 14th from 2:15-3:15 at the Fundy Arena in Black’s Harbour. Any questions please contact Eddie Richard at (506) 658-8540.

1st call is for Sunny Corner at Point Lepreau, they require:

* 1 Apprentice Pipefitter *2 F3/F4 Welders to test on NB Power Welding Procedures (week of Jan 13th)

Starting Monday Jan. 6th @ 7:00am. Duration will be 10 weeks plus, will be working 4×10’s, Mon-Fri 7am-5pm with two 30 min breaks. This schedule will be for Mobilization, Demobilization, Training, Testing, Orientation and Downtime with possible 12 hour shifts for the field execution working up to 6 days on 1 day off with 3 half hour breaks. The 6 days on and 1 day off schedule could fall on a regular time, day off. This work is under the PLGS NMA Agreement. This call is for the 2025 EJ’s replacement project. Work is labour intensive and in tight area. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date.

*2 Journeyman Pipefitters *1 F3/F4 Welders to test on GTAW/SMAW CS and GTAW/SMAW SS

Starting Monday Jan. 6th @ 7:00am. Duration will be 3 months plus, will be working 4×10’s Monday -Thursday with possible overtime. 7am-5pm with two half hour breaks. This work is under the PLGS NMA Agreement. This call is for the Glycol Piping project. Work will be inside and outside. There will be work off scaffolding and lots of climbing. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date.

1st call is for Lorneville at IPP,  they require:

* 2 Pipefitter Apprentices

Starting Monday Dec. 2nd, Days 7:00am.  Duration is 1 month with possible extension.  Will be working 4×10’s Mon-Thurs. This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.
