CWB Testing will be held at the hall on Jan. 31st at 8:00 a.m. Anyone interested, please contact the hall to reserve a booth.

The 2024 Union Dues Tax Reciepts are available for pickup at the Hall. Any receipts that are not picked up by Friday, February 7th, will be mailed out Monday, February 10th.

The Kennebacasis Lions Club will be holding their 27th Annual Pub Auction on Friday, February 7th, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Bill Maguire Center. There are tickets available for purchase at the hall for $20.00. The ticket will include your entry fee as well as beer and wine. If your interested, please call the hall.

Any members interested in attending a forklift/telehandler course or a shop steward course, please contact the hall to register.

Any apprentices interested in the Skills Competition, please contact the hall.

1st call is for Cam at Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

*1 Instrument Tech Apprentice  

Starting Monday, Feb. 3rd @ 7:30am. Duration is unknown. Will be working 4×10’s, 40 hours plus. This work will be under the Maintenance and Repair GPMA Short-Term Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested; must have all safety training up to date. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to site. A D&A test is required.

Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested; must have all safety training up to date. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to site, and a D&A test is required.

3rd call is for Cam at Irving Oil Refinery; they require:

*1Journeyman Pipefitter  

Starting Monday, Feb. 10th @ 7:30am. Duration is unknown. Will be working 4×10’s, 40 hours plus. This work will be under Maintenance and Repair, GPMA Short-Term Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested; must have all safety training up to date. Must complete online orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to site. And a D&A test is required

It is with great sadness that we announce local member Jacques Pitre passed away on January 13th, 2025. There are no funeral arrangements made yet. We will update the details when they become available.

2nd call is for Lorneville at ESJ Terminals. They require:

*1 Journeyman Pipefitter

Starting Monday, Feb. 3rd @ 7:00am. Duration is 4 weeks plus. Will be working 5×10’s, with the possibility of OT. This work will be under the short-term NMA Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested; must have all safety training up to date. Must complete online orientation before reporting to site, and a D & A test is required.
