Any members that would like Pre-Clearance for Point Lepreau, please contact the hall.

1st call is for Lorneville at the Fab Shop: Whitebone Way, they require:

*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Stainless Steel Tig

Starting As soon as possible at 7:30am. Duration is 4 weeks. Will be working 7:30-4:00 with possible overtime and possible night shift. This work is under the Fab Shop Agreement.

2nd call is for Lorneville at the Tissue Plant: , they require:

*1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Stainless and Carbon

Starting As soon as possible at 7:00 am. Duration is 1 month plus. Will be working 4×10’s Monday -Thursday. This work is under the Industrial Agreement.

3rd call is for B&W at Irving Pulp and Paper Mill (ETP Location) , they require:

*2 Journeyman Pipefitters * 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4 & Stainless Tig

Starting Sept. 23rd at 7:30 am. Duration is approx 4 weeks. Will be working 4×10’s. This work is under the Industrial Agreement.

*We still have open calls for Instrument Tech’s for Sunny Corner at Point Lepreau, please contact the hall for more details.

All above calls must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

WE WILL BE HOLDING A RATIFICATION VOTE OF THE INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT.  THE VOTE WILL TAKE PLACE ON TONIGHT , SEPT. 18TH, 2024 @ 6:30PM – 8:30PM.  THE LOCATION WILL BE:  37 MCALLISTER DRIVE, SAINT JOHN, N.B., BUILDING 1 IN EXIBITION PARK. THERE WILL BE A READING OF THE CHANGES, QUESTIONS ON THE CHANGES WITH A VOTE TO FOLLOW.  VOTING WILL END AT 8:30PM.  YOU MUST SHOW YOUR UNION CARD TO GAIN ENTRY. We are looking for volunteers for scrutineer’s if your available, please advise the hall.
