ATTENTION
WE WILL BE HOLDING A RATIFICATION VOTE OF THE INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT. THE VOTE WILL TAKE PLACE ON SEPT. 18TH, 2024 @ 6:30PM – 8:30PM. THE LOCATION WILL BE: 37 MCALLISTER DRIVE, SAINT JOHN, N.B., BUILDING 1 IN EXIBITION PARK. THERE WILL BE A READING OF THE CHANGES, QUESTIONS ON THE CHANGES WITH A VOTE TO FOLLOW. VOTING WILL END AT 8:30PM. YOU MUST SHOW YOUR UNION CARD TO GAIN ENTRY. We are looking for volunteers for scrutineer’s if your available, please advise the hall.
The Weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit at (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.
There will be CWB testing at the hall Sept. 24th. Please contact the hall to get registered.
Any members that would like Pre-Clearance for Point Lepreau, please contact the hall.
1st call is for Lorneville at Irving Tissue; they require:
*1 Journeyman Pipefitter
Starting as soon as possible at 7:00am. Duration is 1 month plus. Will be working 10 hour shifts, 40 hours. This work is under the Industrial Agreement.
2nd call is for Lorneville at the Fab Shop: Whitebone Way, they require:
*1 Journeyman Pipefitter *1 F3/F4 Welder to test on Stainless Steel Tig
Starting As soon as possible at 7:30am. Duration is 4 weeks. Will be working 7:30-4:00 with possible overtime and possible night shift. This work is under the Fab Shop Agreement.
All above calls Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.
