1st call is for Sunny Corner at Irving Pulp and Paper; they require:
*2 Journeyman Pipefitters
Starting Monday, September 9th at 7:30am. Duration is 4 weeks plus. Will be working 40 hours, 10 hour shifts Monday -Thursday. This work is under the Industrial Agreement
2nd call is for Sunny Corner at IOL Refinery; they require:
*3 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4;F6/F4
Starting Wednesday, September 18th at 7:30pm. THis is a night shift call. Duration is Approx. 2 Weeks. Will be working 60-70 hours, 10 hour shifts. This work is under the NMA Agreement. A D&A test is required.
3rd call is for Lorneville at Irving Tissue; they require:
*1 Journeyman Pipefitter
Starting Monday, Sept. 9th at 7:00am. Duration is 1 month plus. Will be working 10 hour shifts, 40 hours. This work is under the Industrial Agreement.
4th call is for Sunny Corner at Bayside Power; they require:
*2 Journeyman Pipefitters
Starting Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:30am. Duration is 4-6 weeks. Will be working 6×10’s and overtime as required This work is under the NMA Agreement.
5th call is for Gil-Son Construction at Irving Pulp & Paper; they require:
*1 Instrument Fitter Journeyman *1 Apprentice Pipefitter with tube bending experience
Starting Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00am. Duration is 3 weeks plus. Will be working 4×10’s Tuesday-Friday for the week of September 1-7, then Monday-Thursday for the remainder of the project.
All above calls Must be clean shaven and fit tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation and hire on paperwork before reporting to site.

It is with deep sadness we announce local member Donald Jones passed away on Friday, August 23rd. Arrangements are under the care of Passage Funeral Co-operative and Cremation Centre, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge N.B. Visitations will be held on Friday, September 6th, 2024, at Ste-Therese d’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pele from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, and on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, from 9:00am until time of service. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11:00am.

There will be a free BBQ to follow at Rockwood Park starting at 12:30pm, between the A-Frame and and the playground. They will have bouncy castles for the kids, so bring your family. Everyone is welcome to participate. Please advise the hall if your available to volunteer.
