Local 213’s annual summer picnic will be held Sat., July 11th, 2026, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Glen Carpenter Centre, 730 Foster Thurston Drive. We are still looking for volunteers; if you’re available to lend a hand, please advise the hall when registering.
One call for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery. They require:
* 1 Journeyman Pipefitter * 1 F3/F4 Welder to test on F3/F4; F6/F5
Starting Monday, July 13th, at 7:00am. The shift schedule is 4x10s, with possible overtime. The duration is 2 weeks plus. This work is under the NMA Agreement under short-term conditions. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site. A D&A test is required.

This work is under the Industrial Agreement. Must be clean-shaven and fit-tested and must have all safety training up-to-date and must complete all orientation and hire-on paperwork before reporting to the site.

Job scope: the recovery boiler duct prefabrication project. This work is under the industrial agreement.
