Friday, March 15th

This is Local 213’s Work Information for Friday, March 15th.

There will be a Fall Protection course held at the hall on Saturday, March 23rd.  Any members who are in need of this please contact the hall to register.

1st call is for Lorneville at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill they require:

*2 Journeyman Pipefitters & 2 Apprentice Pipefitters

Starting Tues. March 19th at 7:00am will be working 4×10’s Mon-Thurs. Duration is 2-3 weeks plus.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Job will require lots of heavy lifting of 10″ hose to be disconnected and removed. Must be clean shaven and fit tested, must have all safety training up to date.  All orientation MUST BE COMPLETED before arriving on-site.

2nd call is for Lorneville at the Irving Oil Refinery (Gate 8 – Turnaround Complex 2) they require:

*5 Journeyman Pipefitters & 1 Apprentice Pipefitter

Starting on Days Monday March 25th at 7:00am for pre-outage will be working 4×10’s until April 22nd then will be switching to Nights on April 22nd for the duration of the outage, approx. 16 shifts of 6×10’s, with a possibility of 7-10’s or 12’s on critical path work during the outage.  This work is under the NMA Short Term Agreement for the duration of the call, till the end of the outage.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested, must have all safety training up to date. Must be able to climb and work from heights. All Safety and Orientation MUST BE COMPLETED before arriving on-site and a D&A test is required.

Thursday, March 14th

Wednesday, March 13th

This is Local 213’s Work Information for Wednesday, March 13th.

The Weld shop is open by appointment only. Please contact Jamie Profit (506) 333-8542 to make an appointment.

The regular monthly meeting will be held this evening March 13th at 7:00pm at the Legion Branch 69 located at 714 Wilson Street West.

1st call is for Cam at the Irving Oil Refinery they require:

*2 F3/F4 Welders to test on F3/F4. This is a night shift call, you will be starting Thursday March 21st @ 7:30am.  Then switching to nights on Monday March 25th @7:30pm.  Will be working 4×10’s. 40 hours plus possible overtime.  Duration is unknown.  This work is under the GPMA Agreement.  Must be able to climb and work from heights.  Must be clean shaven and fit tested, must have all safety training up to date and a D&A test is required.

2nd call is for Lorneville at Irving Pulp & Paper, they require:

*2 Journeyman Pipefitters and 2 F3/F4 Welders to test on Stainless and Carbon.  This is a day shift call starting Monday, March 18th @ 7:00am.  Will be working 4×10’s Mon-Thurs.  Duration is 2 weeks plus.  This work is under the Industrial Agreement.  Must have all safety training up to date, be clean shaven and fit tested.

Tuesday, March 12th
