Local 213’s annual summer picnic will be held on Saturday, July 27th,  from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m at the Glen Carpenter Center, 730 Foster Thurston Drive. We are still looking for volunteers;  if your available to lend a hand, please advise the hall.

There is 1 call for Lorneville at the LNG they require:

*1 Journeyman Instrument Tech.

Starting Monday, July 22 days @ 7:00am.  Duration is unknown and they will be working 4×10’s, 40 hours plus.  This work is under the GPMA agreement.  Must be clean shaven and fit-tested. Must have all safety training up to date and complete all orientation before reporting to site. Must provide photo id to gain access to the facility.

ATTENTION: THERE IS A CHANGE OF VENUE FOR THE RATIFICATION VOTE OF OUR INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT – This is Due to the number of members expected with limited parking at the legion.

Our regular monthly meeting for July 10th, 2024 has been changed to a meeting for the ratification of our Industrial Agreement – The meeting will take place at; 37 McAllister Drive, Saint John NB, Building 1 (Blue and white building at Exhibition Park). The meeting will be tonight,  July 10th, 2024 and will start at 7:00pm.  You must show your union card to gain entry and vote.  There will be a reading of the changes, questions on the changes with a vote to follow. Voting will end at 9pm. For those on nights or any members that just want to vote, the polls will open at 5pm at 37 McAllister Drive.
